Tummy Tuck & Liposuction of Flanks- Hinsdale, IL

Procedure Details

This patient presented for aesthetic improvement of the abdomen. The abdominal skin was loose and had multiple stretch marks from multiple pregnancies. The pubis was droopy (ptotic) and abdominal muscles were lax and separated as well (diastasis recti). There was subcutaneous fat of the bilateral flanks that was 3-4 inches in thickness (lipodystrophy). The patient underwent a full tummy tuck with abdominal wall tightening and liposuction of the bilateral falnks. She is 3 months post op in the photos. I would expect the pinkness of the scars to continue to mature and eventually blend with the color of the surrounding skin. Final scar healing and blending is usually a 2 year process.
