I had Dr. Kouris do my breast aug 10 years ago. People can't believe I have implants due to the fact that they fit my body so well and look natural. 10 years later they still look great and are perky.I was very nervous about picking the right dr for my procedure. He was honest about my body size and shape when helping me pick my new breast size. Hes extremely professional and makes you feel comfortable asking questions and giving honest answers. I was looking for a cosmetic/plastic surgeon who had experience working with a high degree of vertical lines and loss of elasticity of the neck. UPDATE: The clinic called me back and asked if I could come in for complementary Botox to make up for the previous problems. The appointment went well. I met with Dr. Kouris and let him know that he didn't have to completely comp the Botox but he insisted and profusely apologized. He is a nice man and he truly care about his patients and their time. Kudos to him for making things right:) I’ll start with saying that I hardly ever write a poor review. However, I am very disappointed with this clinic. I made an appointment over a month ago for the 12th of December and let the receptionist know that I would be coming in during my lunch break. She assured me that they would be able to see me in a timely manner. I was supposed to be receiving a consult for skincare as well as Botox. Eight days before my appointment, I was contacted by Dr. Kouris’ receptionist reminding me of my appointment on the 5th. I let her know that she was mistaken that my appointment was made for the 12th as my husband was out of town during the 5th and I would not have made an appointment for that day. She apologized and updated her schedule for the 12th. On the 9th I was once again contacted by the receptionist letting me know that the individual who would be assisting with the skincare consult would be out of the country on the 12th and would not be able to see me during my appointment and let me know that I would need to make another appointment to see her. I was a bit bothered by this given this was the second “mishap” with scheduling but she let me know that she would have the person give me a call the following day so I could at least speak with her. I thought it was a nice gesture, so I agreed. I was able speak with the individual but as expected, she ultimately said she would need to see me to make any definite suggestions. Well, today I showed up for my appointment at 12:00 and was given paperwork to complete. I let the receptionist know, once again, that I was on my lunch break and needed to be sure they were aware that I didn’t have much time. She let me know that she would remind the clinic team and not to worry, they would get me back in time. Well, 45 minutes later, I was still waiting to see someone from the clinic staff. I had to leave before seeing anyone. The receptionist said “Sorry, we had another patient JUST stall everything”. I told her that I was more bothered by the fact that nothing had been communicated to me than the fact that they were running behind. I was also bothered by the receptionist lack of concern that I had to leave before being seen. I would expect more than a simple “sorry”. The explanation was only given after I prompted for more information. A clinic that allows the receptionist to be the face of the organization should strive for a more sympathetic, organized, communicative, individual. More

Amazing work - My experience was very very good. Dr. Kouris my reconstruction surgeon was very thorough and explained everything to me. He was very personable and I could easily talk to him. His surgical nurse that performs all the surgeries with him and also did the expanding process during the reconstruction was absolutely wonderful! She is a very very special person and help me a great deal through the whole process and kept my spirits high. More

Phenomenal plastic surgeon - Greater Chicago Area - I really can’t express how awesome my experience was with Dr. Kouris and his team. I am fortunate to have a family member that works in healthcare and was able to ask numerous doctors and practitioners for recommendations on a plastic surgeon. Dr. Kouris was overwhelmingly recommended and after our initial consultation I understood why. I felt so confident that I would have a great outcome and I was in the right hands after our first meeting. I had a significant weight loss of 80lbs over a 3 year period and was left with excess skin around my abdomen and a sagging chest. Dr. Kouris performed a tummy tuck and lipo of my chest to flatten out my figure and shape my abdomen. This also included some lipo of my flanks. Despite all of the work that was done I was never in any significant pain or discomfort. I had appointments with Dr. Kouris every week for the first few weeks after the procedure to monitor progress. By the third week I was drain free and able to return to work. I was really pleased at how quickly I was recovering and returning to normal daily activities. Everyone who has a tummy tuck is always concerned about scaring. My steri-strips were removed after three weeks and Dr. Kouris did a phenomenal job on the closure and I could tell that with time no one will be able to tell I had a tummy tuck at all. Breast Augmentation - Lagrange, IL - My 1st set Of breast implants was in 1999, one of my implants ruptured. My original implants never felt natural I always felt like they were a foreign object in my body never were comfortable. I went through 5-6 consultants before I met Dr. Kouris and his team. From my first phone conversation with His nurse Sheila I had a great feeling about his office. Once I met Dr. Kouris and his team I KNEW IMMEDIATELY THAT I FOUND THE RIGHT DOCTOR AND OFFICE! Great guy - Only two days ago I went to see Dr. Kouris for a Neograft hair transplant, which is essentially a technique that removes hair follicles from where there are plenty, like around the nape of the neck, and moves them to where they aren't, like the front and/or top of your head. It is a time consuming, tedious, one-hair-at-a-time thing that takes all day. It's different than the other services he offers, because he doesn't actually do the work himself - it's completed by two highly competent , specialized "hair technicians". However, he supervises the treatment closely, and he stopped in the room where I was about once every hour, and I was there 9 full hours. I can't agree more with all the positive comments that everyone else says - the nurse is caring and attentive and the doctor himself is top-notch. Quite a team! - Due to breast cancer, I had a single mastectomy at age 62. Dr Kouris handled the reconstruction with an implant and a lift on my opposite side. Not only am I pleased with his technical surgery, but I am surprised at how artistic he was with the reconstruction. I've nicknamed him "Dr. Van Gogh". His asst, Sheila, also was very knowledgeable and concerned that I was comfortable with the outcome. Quite a team! More

I've been a patient with Dr. Kouris for several years now. He is an amazing, and caring doctor who is thoughtful in his approach to your care and has a warm bedside manner. He listens carefully to your desires and is open and honest about what the final expected results will be. His nurse, Sheila, is wonderful to work with. Umbilical Float TT with Full Muscle Plication - After being diagnosed with an umbilical hernia and significant diastasis recti, I decided to go for a tummy tuck to correct the damage done by my large babies (ages 4.5, 3, & 1) and to prevent future hernias. At my consultation I was told I do not have enough lax skin for a full tummy tuck. Instead, my doctor wants to do full abdominal repair with an umbilical float. I really would prefer a full tt, but he insists it wouldn't look good. I'm not positive if he doesn't want to to a small vertical incision where the bb is or if he really feels I can get great results with the mini. I will make clear to him that excess skin above the bb or a too low bb placement are unacceptable. I would rather have a small vertical incision. If the results can be good while keeping my bb, I am happy to take a smaller, lower incision and my natural bb! I'm nervous about the recovery (especially with my little ones), but I will have plenty of help. I figured I have to have hernia surgery regardless, and if I don't fix the muscles while I am having surgery it will be difficult if not impossible to do later. I am so excited (as is my husband)! While I am somewhat fit and small-framed, my tummy has actually never been flat. I eat very well and workout a lot, but I never seem to be able to rid myself of my tummy bulge. I'm 29, and I am hoping I can experience this now that I am done having kids. Maybe I can look my best in my 30's! As for my doctor, Dr. Kouris has a great, gentle bedside manner. He seems concerned about getting natural results but perhaps is not as careful about listening to my specific desires. I believe he is very talented and experienced. He explains things well, and I am hopeful that with enough communication he will be in tune to what I wish to accomplish. He is very caring, and his nurse Shelia seems really knowledgeable. She is experienced working with insurance and is doing so much to ensure insurance covers my hernia repair. She has been with Dr. Kouris for 9 years and said he is the best sewer she's seen. She said he is very particular and trusts him to make me look good. I sure hope she's right! More
